Rev. Dr. LaCreta M. Clark

Rev. Dr. LaCreta M. Clark is an Ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and currently serves as Associate Pastor at Bethel A.M.E. Church where the Rev. P. David Saunders is Pastor.
Dr. Clark is a dynamic preacher, revivalist, vocalist, speaker and facilitator. Some of her presentations include: "Life Strategies for Overcoming Obstacles", "Making Healthy Choices", "Reclaiming Life Through Recovery", and "Let's Dance: Tapping Into Our Spirituality". Her life work and ministry have been birthed out of her life experiences, and it is her mission to share the saving, miraculous power of God with the world. Dr. Clark has preached across this country in Women's Conferences, Revivals, and churches, breaking denominational barriers to reach souls for Christ.
Dr. Clark has an Associate Degree in Business Management from Sinclair Community College; a Bachelor of Science Degree, and Master of Science Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, with a focus on Community Counseling, from Wright State University. Dr. Clark received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton in 2003, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Urbana University in December 2006, where she served as Baccalaureate Speaker for Commencement.
Dr. LaCreta M. Clark is in her ninth year as an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Services at Saginaw Valley State University. She formerly served as Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership & Services. In this capacity, she focused on the training and proficiency of adjunct and new faculty, in understanding today's college students, instruction and assessments, and cultural responsiveness as a foundation for the faculty mentoring relationship with students. Her primary areas of research are; School, Family, and Community Partnerships, Ethical Decision Making in Educational Leadership, and Leadership Theory and Practice.
In July, 2009, Dr. Clark published a chapter on Parental Involvement in the Secondary Classroom, in the textbook, Teachers and Society. She is currently working on two books; one about her personal life journey, and one on promising parenting practices for black families.
Dr. Clark is the wife of Mr. William Julius Clark, Jr, and the "intentional mother" of four active sons, Marquis Jr., (17), Marquin (15), Marlin (13), and Marshawn (11). She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Nona Rutledge.
Dr. Clark's living motto is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Rev. Thelma Williams
twilliams@bethelame-saginaw.orgThelma Ragland was born in Louisa County, Virginia on August 1, 1949, the fifth of eleven children. She graduated from A.G. Richardson High School in Louisa, Virginia. She had her first daughter, Sonya, after which she attended Norfolk University graduating with a B.S. degree in Special Education. She taught at Louisa County High School for three years. She also attended Central Michigan University and has been teaching in Saginaw, Michigan for 27 years. She is currently teaching at Webber Middle School.
Mrs. Thelma Hughes married Harold Williams and had two other children (Raven and Crystal) and three grandchildren (China, Calvin III and Anwar, Jr.).
Mrs. Williams answered her call to the ministry in November
of 1999. She was admitted to 
the
Michigan Conference in August of 2000. She was ordained Rev.
Thelma Williams, Itinerant Deacon in August of 2002 at St.
Paul A.M.E. Church in Detroit, Michigan.
Rev. Williams currently serves as an Associate Minister to Pastor Saunders. She assists with the order of service, Communion, hospital visitations, funerals and other areas as needed. She is also an advisor to the youth usher board, a substitute teacher for the Christian Education Department, trainer/mentor for youth in the church and a volunteer for Vacation Bible School.
Rev. Williams’ favorite quotes are: “Kindness
never hurts anyone, in fact, it just might save your life
some day” ; and, “If I can help somebody as I
travel along the way, my living will not be in vain”.
Her favorite scriptures are Romans 8:37 - “In all these
things we are more than conquerors through him that loved
us and I Corinthians 13:13 – And now abideth faith,
hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
Rev. Williams’ greatest desire is that everyone would
develop and keep a personal relationship with Christ….that
none shall perish and everyone will be saved.
REV. OMEGA D. PRICE

Reverend Omega D. Price is part of the ministerial staff at
Bethel A.M.E. Church in Saginaw, Michigan where she serves
as an Associate Minister. She is a preacher and teacher and
has dedicated her life to serving God. Rev. Omega Price is
the wife of Nathaniel Price, Sr. and the mother of four wonderful
adult children: Angela, Tonya, Nathaniel II and Gregory. She
is also grandmother to three beautiful grand-children: Rodney
Jr., A’Tonia and Daelyn.
Rev. Price is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. Her fellowship with the Lord began at Lee’s Chapel A.M.E. Church. She completed her secondary studies in Birmingham, Alabama then went on to complete her undergraduate studies at Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Elementary Education. After completion of her undergraduate studies, Rev. Price expanded her horizons by accepting a teaching position with the Saginaw Public School system. She has been an educator with the school system for over 36 years, with an emphasis in Special and General Education. In 1976, she attained her Master of Arts degree in Education/Reading from Central Michigan University. Her next goal is to pursue a degree in Theology.
Rev. Price’s chief pursuit in life is to do God’s will. Jesus is her source and has sustained her through many trials and struggles. She is a bold, gentle spirit, who is always about her Father’s business. Rev. Omega knows that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her, as she presses toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
